“Walking is man’s best medicine.” – so said Hippocrates, the ancient Greek philosopher who’s often called ‘the father of medicine’. It is so good for our mental and physical wellbeing.
At Olly’s Future, we believe these words still hold true today. Walking is not only good for our physical health, but also for our mental wellbeing. In just two weeks’ time, you’ll have the chance to experience this for yourself by joining our Worthing Five Peaks Challenge in the stunning South Downs National Park.
Taking place on Saturday, September 6th, this unique event brings people together to celebrate resilience, community, and the healing power of nature. Participants can choose between a six-mile walk or a more adventurous 17-mile hike across the rolling hills of the South Downs.
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or simply enjoy a good walk in the countryside, this is a challenge for everyone. The route takes in breathtaking views, fresh air, and the sense of achievement that comes from reaching each peak.
Every step you take supports our mission to keep young people safe from suicide. By signing up, you’ll not only be boosting your own mental and physical wellbeing, but you’ll also be helping us raise vital awareness and funds to continue our work.
Walking side by side, we can make a difference together.
