‘Time Together’ service at St Martin-in-the-Fields church as part of World Suicide Prevention Week

Our heartfelt thanks to more than 520 people who gathered for the ‘Time Together’ service at St Martin-in-the-Fields church, Trafalgar Square, on Saturday as part of World Suicide Prevention Week. The three themes of Rock (loss), Candle (valley of grief) and Rose (found) were addressed and this year attendees were invited to place a rock or rose on the altar or light a votive candle to signify their journey towards healing. Ann Feloy of Olly’s Future welcomed people and thanked Mike McCarthy founder of Baton Of Hope UK, Olly Lavy, Amandip Sidhu founder of Doctors in Distress, James Mitchell, Harald Walter from Chance for Happiness, Larissa Pearce and the charities Suicide & Co, Support After Suicide Partnership, Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide – SOBS, The Compassionate Friends, UK and The Listening Place.

Last but by no means least, an enormous thank you to St Martin-in-the-Fields and St Martin’s Voices.
