Olly’s Future London to Worthing bike ride
Great friends of Oliver, along with his brother Sam, will be putting pedal to chain on Saturday, August 14th, and cycling over 60 miles from London to Worthing to raise money in support of Olly’s Future’s life-saving work in suicide awareness and prevention. All the money raised will pay for UCL students to attend free suicide prevention training. See story about Shiv Patel here.
The route includes several locations significant to Oliver’s life. We begin in London, where Oliver spent time living and studying to achieve a 1st class degree at UCL. We then head south through the suburbs, into Surrey and Sussex, passing Christ’s Hospital school where Oliver spent seven happy years as a pupil. Our final destination is Worthing Pier, where we will park our bikes alongside the glass window recently installed and designed in celebration of Oliver’s famous orange and lemon throwing talents!
