215 first-year students at Brighton and Sussex Medical School have recently learnt how to talk to future patients about suicide and look after their mental health. This makes a total of 813 students at BSMS who have completed Dr SAMS (Suicide Awareness in Medical Students) – an Olly’s Future initiative – since 2020 as part of their core curriculum.
