We were blessed with a sunny and beautiful Saturday for the Worthing Five Peaks Challenge 2026. Our walkers set out at 9.30am in three groups. Some carried a token inscribed with the name of someone they particularly wanted to remember as they walked.

The first group took a 6-mile circular route around Cissbury Ring. Two groups braved the full 17 miles taking in Cissbury, Chanctonbury, Chantry Hill, Black Patch and ending at Highdown Hill in just over seven hours.
Founder and President, Ann Feloy, said ‘An enormous thank you to all those people who travelled near and far to walk 17 miles in the glorious South Downs, north of Worthing, where our family so often walked. It was the reason my husband Chris and I devised the route. We were joined by many others who had lost someone to suicide or by those simply wanting to help our cause. Worthing Five Peaks Challenge 2026 has been so successful, its going to be an annual event from now on’
If you’d like to support our work in suicide awareness and prevention, there’s still time to donate via https://localgiving.org/charity/ollys-future And please add the date of next year’s walk to your diary – 4th September 2027!

Our grateful thanks to Asda and Morrisons who donated bottles of water and protein bars which were very welcome on the journey. To the Frankland Arms in Washington and The World’s End, Patching, which were welcome rest stops, and to The Highdown where we celebrated the end of the walk. Huge thanks also to the Kreston Reeves Foundation, where Olly’s Future is a nominated charity this year. We were delighted to welcome two members of their team on the walk.
On World Suicide Prevention Day, Olly’s Future founder and President, Ann Feloy, shares the shock and devastation of losing her son to suicide, and thoughts on the suicide epidemic in the UK.
The Worthing Five Peaks Challenge 2026 took place on Saturday 5th September to raise funds for Olly’s Future’s vital work in suicide prevention.
