We have a very limited number of places still available for our next online Talking about Suicide: 10 Tools (TAS:10) Open Session. This will take place on Tuesday 21st July at 12:30pm

This CPD certified session of Talking about Suicide: 10 Tools (TAS:10) focuses on schools. It features an example ‘Life Saving Conversation‘ between a teacher and a teenage pupil. This session is for you if you are: a teacher, tutor, or work in a school with young people.

This session is part of the One Voice One Hope (OVOH) Schools Conference Summer Education Programme. This provides dedicated suicide prevention training for educators.

The programme builds teachers’ confidence, capability, and safe practice regarding student wellbeing, mental health and suicide awareness within the curriculum. This landmark Schools Suicide Prevention Conference was hosted by Steve Phillip, founder of OVOH and The Jordan Legacy.

In the UK, a person dies by suicide every 90 minutes. Suicide is the most common cause of death of people under 35.

We ALL need to learn talk about suicide, with confidence, clarity and compassion, with our co-workers, clients, friends and family – and especially with our young people.

In just 90 minutes, you’ll learn 10 tools and the confidence to talk about suicide with someone you’re worried about – a conversation that can save a life. You don’t need to have any prior training or knowledge.

We always have training sessions available. If you aren’t able to attend this time, contact [email protected] to book another date or register your interest. You can read more about TAS:10, our other training, and our work supporting schools

Talking about Suicide:10 Tools (TAS:10) was created by Ann Feloy of Olly’s Future, in memory of her son, and Rose Rowkins of Start the Conversation.
