Two Amazing Awards in One Week
Olly’s Future Trustees Rory Keddie and Hannah Wood were thrilled to meet ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ – this year’s winner of the ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ’ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐ for Commitment to the Christ’s Hospital Marching Band, during Speech Day at Christ’s Hospital School in West Sussex. The award was set up by The Worshipful Company of the World Traders in Memory of Olly Hare and it is presented every year by the Lord Mayor of London Christ’s Hospital

Olivia Buckland, Olly’s Future Trustee, was delighted to present the ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ at UCL to ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข. UCL Students’ Union UCL
Our winner is dedicated to ending loneliness and is said to have turned people’s lives around, particularly those with autism, or who are disabled or part of the LGBTQ community. He has run up to five events a day to help others and break down stigma and isolation. He also holds weekly welfare check-ins for students. Danilo himself has OCD and has raised awareness of this crippling mental illness. As well as this and other activities, he also runs UCL Marrow and has recruited people to join the stem cell register to save lives. In short, he works tirelessly to support others.
