Our team delivered Dr SAMS (Suicide Awareness in Medical Students)

A first for Olly’s Future! On Monday, our team delivered Dr SAMS (Suicide Awareness in Medical Students) face-to-face instead of online. Thanks to Julia Hynes at Kent and Medway Medical School who made us so welcome and the students themselves who learnt suicide prevention skills as well as listening techniques and self-care strategies to avoid burnout later in life. A culture change has begun! Last slide: L- R: Julia Hynes from Kent and Medway Medical School. Ann Feloy (founder of Olly’s Future) Rose Rowkins Start the Conversation: Suicide Prevention Education, Rusty Livock, Rachel van Hoven, Megan Abbott from Kent County Council and Cassie Duce from Kent and Medway Medical School.
